PUTTENHAM Golf Club will host their second annual South Region PGA Charity Pro-Am on Thursday, September 22.
The event will raise funds for the On-Course Foundation which helps injured and sick armed services personnel and veterans on their road to recovery through the game of golf, with possible employment opportunities in the golf industry.
The tournament is held in conjunction with the South Region PGA, ensuring that a top-class field of local professionals will be competing.
The cost to enter a team of three amateurs to play 18 holes with one of the professionals, plus food and refreshments, is £300. To enter, contact Gary Simmons or Tim Coombes on 01483 810498 or email [email protected]
There will be prizes for the five top teams and nearest-the-pin winners.
The main sponsor is again Normandy Garage. Hole sponsorship packages are still available.
* Blackmoor and Oak Park are through to the last eight of the Fullers County Sevens Inter-Club Knockout.
