A TEAM of four ladies from Worldham Golf Club – Vicky Wyeth, Olivia Southern, Jane Macrae and Gina Smith – won the 2017 Corhampton Centenary Shield.

The annual competition is open to clubs from all over Hampshire and 34 teams ventured forth in wet and windy conditions on a very exposed course.

Smith and Macrae played their foursomes round first and came in with a gross score of 103.

Wyeth and Southern managed to improve on this by 11 shots, giving the Worldham team an eclectic gross of 92 and a net of 68.5. Runners-up Rowlands Castle finished with a team net score of 68.75.

The Worldham team now proudly have the shield on display back at their club.
