GUY Madjo gave Aldershot's goal-starved fans something to cheer about on Tuesday night.

The Cameroonian's close-range strike on 53 minutes gave Aldershot their first home goal since December 10 and broke Hereford's dominance over the Hampshire club.

The Bulls had lost only once in seven trips to Aldershot before this game. And the Shots' win at Edgar Street back in September was their first success against Hereford in 14 attempts.

So to complete the double over their former Conference rivals was particularly sweet for older Aldershot fans – albeit the task was made easier by Hereford having to play the last 25 minutes with 10 men.
