A NEW chapter in the history of Aldershot Town Football Club opened this week as Andy Scott's patchwork side brushed off a traumatic summer to secure a first win since returning to Conference football.

Tuesday's 3-0 mauling of Dartford saw the Shots build on a hard-earned opening draw at Grimsby on Saturday, cutting their points deficit to minus six after exiting administration just days before the start of the new season.
