A MOMENT of individual brilliance from substitute Adam Mekki ensured that Aldershot Town again felt very much at home on their travels.

Now unbeaten in their last six away games, the Shots edged out of the League Two relegation zone buoyed by the resilience and spirit which will surely serve them well through crucial forthcoming fstive fixtures.

Manager Dean Holdsworth was even disappointed not to have won a game of few chances which could have swung his team's way in two contentious incidents inside the penalty box.

Despite lacking the cutting edge their approach play deserved, a point was just reward for the visitors' endeavours, and referee Tony Harrington was perhaps a touch lenient in not penalising first Jake Wright and then Damian Batt as Danny Hylton twice went down under robust shoulder-to-shoulder challenges.
