QUIETLY extending their unbeaten run to four games and restoring a degree of confidence to their play, Aldershot Town eased into the second round of the FA Trophy at the second attempt on Tuesday night.

Two fine strikes from Lewis Young illuminated a thoroughly professional performance from the Shots, who will now entertain Worcester City on December 14.

While Weston were ultimately well beaten, they still provided a few scares for Andy Scott's side, particularly during a second-half period in which they scored twice and seemingly added a large kitchen sink to their attacking armoury.
