THERE was success for two Petersfield rugby players called up for Hampshire U14 duty at the weekend.

Joe Knowles and Ben Kay, playing full back and inside centre respectively, helped the county side to a 62-0 victory over visitors Middlesex at Basingstoke on Sunday.

Both played exceptionally well, with Knowles running in a try from 10 metres and Kay finishing the game off with a 60-metre sprint to score.

The club is very proud of them and looks forward to them returning to the fold to lend their weight to the under-14s’ run-in to the end of the season.
