ALTON Rugby Club are taking part in the ‘Return to Rugby’ project which is backed by the RFU.

England international James Haskell and ‘Trigger Happy’ star Dom Joly have teamed up in the scheme which is designed to encourage players from the age of 16 to 39 to return to playing rugby.

Haskell said: “We’ll be re-introducing people to rugby through fun and invigorating game play, moving at their own pace and giving them an opportunity to get some refreshers on basic skills. Whatever your playing level, whether you want to play socially, get back into competitive playing or just simply want to get fit, we’ll tailor the sessions to suit your needs.”

Sessions start at Alton’s Anstey Park this Thursday (August 18), starting 7pm. For more information, visit www.returntorugby.com
