LIKE little lambs lost amidst the vast Pennine moorlands and dark Satanic wool mills which surround The Shay, Aldershot were not so much put to the slaughter as put out of their misery by Halifax last Saturday.

Meekly succumbing to their second four-goal defeat in five days, Aldershot again made several defensive errors which compounded their own toothless attacking play that created not a single effort on target in 90 minutes.

Ultimately, Halifax barely had to break sweat to inflict another debilitating loss on Andy Scott's side.
