ALDERSHOT Town were blown away by a Dover Athletic side who gave them a stark lesson in finishing on Tuesday night.

Although largely matching their opponents, shot-for-shot, Andy Scott's side were bullied into meek submission by a team who displayed admirable strength, hunger and predatory instinct to run away as embarrassingly comfortable winners.

The visitors dominated for long periods of the first half, only to concede a goal that was a carbon-copy of Saturday's late equaliser at Gateshead, and the second half amounted to little more than pure capitulation.
