ALDERSHOT'S season of peaks and troughs continued with a rousing win at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday, following their superb result against new champions Swindon in midweek.

Dean Holdsworth's men are currently playing well enough to beat anyone in the division, but inconsistency will deny them a place in the top seven, even if they win their remaining two matches – at home to Rotherham this Saturday and at Crewe on May 5.
