OLD habits clearly die hard this season as sloppy defending again cost Aldershot on Saturday.

The Shots' classy midfield duo of Josh Payne and Scott Donnelly enjoyed much of the ball, but indecision at both ends of the pitch handed Bradford City a comfortable victory and condemned Dean Holdsworth's side to a seventh defeat in ten league matches.

Bermuda international Nahki Wells scored both the visitors' goals in the first half, profiting from two untimely slips, first by Sonny Bradley and then by defensive partner Troy Brown.

Despite some enterprising play, especially during the first 45 minutes, Aldershot struggled to muster any clear-cut scoring opportunities.
