THE rough weather put paid to Farnham Road Club’s weekly time trial last week.

The week before, 20 solo riders, one tandem and one two-up team had contested the Tuesday 10-mile TT.

Fastest on the night was VC Meudon rider Mark Taylor who covered the distance in 21mins 01secs, followed closely by Steve Williamson (a3crg) in 21-09 and James Goward (Four4th) in 21-35.

Sam Orbell and Robert Allen (Farnham RC) recorded the fourth-fastest time of 21-48 on their tandem.

The quickest lady was Laura Bartlett (a3crg) in 22-38, with Natalie White (VC Godalming & Haslemere) recording 25-22. The two-up pairing of Anna Stedman and Julian White (Charlotteville CC) finished in 25-30.

The best of Farnham’s solo riders was David Clifford with 23-51. Other Farnham times: Mike Fricker 24-56, John Cooke 25-02, Greg Harding 25-07, Paul Barber 25-15, Huw Lloyd 25-23, Jim Parker 26-00.

Deana and Michael Rice and Ian Thomas acted as timekeepers, with signs by Ian Thomas, pushing-off by Silvio Cortis and signing-on by Michael Rice.
