ALDERSHOT Town were reduced to a pale shadow of their recently exuberant selves as they quite simply ran out of steam in North Wales last Saturday.

Both the statistics and a resurgent Wrexham side conspired against Andy Scott's team as the cumulative effects of seven games in 20 days, 10 players out injured, and more than 900 miles on the road took a highly visible toll.
