BATTLING against both the elements and exalted opposition, Aldershot Town continue to climb mountains.

At the end of a week which saw them take on three promotion challengers, this young and exciting Shots team visibly grew with the pride and passion of inflicting a rare home defeat upon Lincoln City at Sincil Bank.

It was no smash-and-grab raid either, despite the narrowest of scorelines tipped in their favour only by Brett Williams' 48th-minute penalty. The visitors always had the greater quality in possession and stood strong to withstand the Imps' late comeback.
