A LAND Rover Defender linked to the attempted theft of a cash point machine at a Co-op was recovered in an area off Thursley Road, in Thursley last Wednesday.
It was found after a member of public reported it following an appeal for information. Anyone who saw the vehicle, pictured, being driven to that area or the occupants of the vehicle is asked to contact Surrey Police immediately on 101 or report it online at www.surrrey.police.uk
The Land Rover (pictured) was rammed into the Co-op in Wrecclesham Road, Wrecclesham, in Farnham, at around 2am, on January 6, when three men attempted unsuccessfully to steal the cash machine (ATM).
They left that vehicle at the scene and drove away in a second Land Rover Defender which was later recovered in Thursley. Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward if they saw three unknown men outside the Co-op when it was closed at around midnight
They also want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything around the time of the incident.
