POLICE are appealing for information following a collision last week which saw a motorist flee from the scene.

The incident happened shortly before 5pm on Wednesday, July 4, at Kingsley. Witnesses reported seeing a number of vehicles blocking the south carriageway by the traffic light junction of the A325 and B3004.

Hampshire Police said they were called to a report of a three-vehicle ceash involving a Vauxhall Astra, a Volkswagen Golf and a Mitsubishi. One of the vehicles involved was driven by a Liphook Equine Hospital vet.

The driver of the Astra abandoned their car and fled the scene before police arrived.

Although there were no reported injuries, police are still keen to hear from witnesses.

A Hampshire Police spokesman said: “The investigation is ongoing, and as with any ongoing investigation if anyone has any information they can contact us on 101.”
