THIEVES were left frustrated after a break-in at Farnham College last month, it has emerged, with Surrey Police confirming a stolen cash machine “was empty”.
As reported in last week’s Herald, police received reports of a break-in at Farnham Sixth-Form College in Morley Road between 10.30pm and 11pm on September 15.
Giving an update on the investigation, a spokesman for the force added this week: “An empty ATM was stolen after thieves broke in through a set of glass doors.
“Enquiries remain ongoing and we are investigating to see whether this incident is linked to other thefts of ATMs which have taken place in Surrey over the last few weeks.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
