MORE than 200 people gathered together for a special evening of football nostalgia at Potters International Hotel in Aldershot, hosted by the co-founder of the club, Graham Brookland, with all proceeds from the night going to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

Ex-players, managers and staff from Aldershot FC all attended the evening, which was held to celebrate and remember the achievements of the club over the years.

The evening, which was sponsored by Eagle Radio, accountancy firm Branston Adams and express courier company Scott 2 Go, included a two-course meal with a raffle and auction - raising £5,205 for Phyllis Tuckwell.

Georgi Robinson-Welch, corporate partnerships manager at Phyllis Tuckwell, said: “We would like to thank Graham Brookland and all of the sponsors involved, for organising and supporting such a great event.
