TWO accidents closed the northbound carriageway of the A3 between Thursley and Milford for nearly three hours last Thursday causing long tailbacks.

A motorbike was in collision with a car at 4.50pm on the Milford bypass. One person was taken to Guildford's Royal Surrey County Hospital.

Two vehicles were then in collision one mile north of Thursley. One woman was treated for shock but there were no other injuries. The road re-opened at 7.35pm.
