The event offered something for everyone, with a packed programme of music, delicious food, and activities that kept the crowds entertained.
From midday until early evening, visitors were treated to an exciting variety of musical acts.
The day began with Buffalo Gap, whose mix of Americana, blues, and country rock set the tone with driving rhythms and tight harmonies.
Later, the crowd enjoyed two 15-minute sessions by the Farnham Taiko Drummers and danced along to Brobed Stils, a five-piece band whose set featured Motown, soul, rock, reggae, and African sounds.
The afternoon continued with the uplifting melodies of Solid Steel Drums, filling the meadow with the distinctive sound of steel pan music.
Choro Bandido brought a touch of Brazil with their blend of African rhythms and European melodies, before the day was rounded off in style by Craic ‘n’ Session, who had everyone clapping along to traditional Irish folk tunes.
Cllr Kika Mirylees, Farnham Town Council’s lead member for culture and business said: “Whilst Glastonbury may have thrilled crowds with big-name acts, here in Farnham we had our own musical celebration which brought the community together in true festival spirit.
“It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves, and my thanks go to all the performers, attendees, sponsors and everybody who helped make the day such a success.”
Alongside the music, families enjoyed children’s rides, free face painting, a craft tent, and circus skills workshops.
The meadow was filled with food and drink stalls offering everything from Thai and Turkish dishes to craft cider, coffee, and sweet treats.
40Degreez hosted a traditional tea tent, which proved popular throughout the day.
The event was part of Farnham’s summer programme, made possible thanks to the generous support of Kidd Rapinet and Shaw Gibbs who are principal sponsors of summer in Farnham.
