THE sun shone down as The Bourne Show, which has been running for nearly 70 years, got into full swing with a record number attending.
The event provides a great afternoon out for all the family, while raising money for a number of local charities and causes into the bargain.
Visitors were entertained from start to finish with music, a barn dance, magic shows, a Punch and Judy performance, dog shows and a great deal more.
The barn dance, which saw around 200 people take part, marked the end of the popular village show which takes place annually on the Bourne Green in Lower Bourne.
The competitions were endless with many residents and those from further afield going home with more than just a smile on their face. One was Paul Wheeler who was awarded The Morris Cup for his fruit and vegetables, and Margot Tringham who was presented with The Richards Cup for her flowers.
The Ron Watts Memorial Plate (for delphiniums) was awarded to Pamela Thorn, while The Mitchell Cup (for flower arranging) was given to Beryl Webster.
Christ Witheyman was the proud winner of The Bourne Business Cup (for domestic), Gill Keighley walked away with The Peggy Goebel Cup (for arts and crafts), and Theo Panayiotou won the Bourne Show Committee Cup for photography.
