TO mark the the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, students at All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham were tasked with producing work to enter into their ‘Curiouser and Curiouser’exhibition.

Staff, students and parents gathered to celebrate the opening of the exhibition by holding a Mad Hatter’s tea party. From felt biscuits to real sponge cakes and illustrations to poems, the exhibition contained a full array of creative talent produced by students.

The sculptures of cakes and treats were so convincing that they could have been mistaken for the real refreshments on offer.

Visitors were joined by various characters from the book, including Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the March Hare, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and the Queen’s guards - roles all expertly performed by the school’s KS3 drama students throughout the evening.

Mrs Bowdery, organiser of the exhibition, said: “The event was a huge success and we are very proud of our students and the work they produced.”
