MORE than 30 riders took part in the LiBDA charity bike ride to raise money for Charlie's Angels - a charity named in memory of Bordon boy Charlie White who died from cancer.
Charlie's Angels raises money for Brain Tumour Research and the 34 cyclists who took part in Sunday's event, in Liphook, generated at least £3,000 for the cause.
Charlie White was three when he died on New Year's Eve. Since then friends and family have been raising money for the charity.
Abba White, Charlie's mother, said: "I want to thank everyone who took part - friends, neighbours and family, some of whom hadn't been on a bike until just a couple of months ago (including me).
"It was fantastic and meant a lot to me that so many people wanted to get involved to raise funds in memory of Charlie, who died so young."
Liz Fussey, spokeswoman for Brain Tumour Research, said: "Grateful thanks to all the 34 riders from Charlie's Angels."
Charlie's Angels raises funds towards research into the disease by the University of Portsmouth.
