FARNHAM’s annual fireworks and torch lit parade will return this November - with 300 free family tickets promised for key workers.

This year’s display will be held on Saturday, November 6, with a new-look food village and entertainment on offer.

Organised by the Farnham Round Table, the group have had a ’Thank You Key Workers’ theme throughout the year, and have been saying thank you to staff at Frimley Park Hospital by funding a garden party, and at the Royal Surrey Hospital by funding a staff hamper scheme.

And thanks to ME Estate Agents and YiaYia’s at The Fox, 300 complimentary family tickets are being offered through a ballot to staff at the two hospitals and at 12 Farnham schools.

Starting with the traditional torch lit procession led by the mayor and Reading Pipe Band up Castle Street to Farnham Park, activities will then follow including the local school-made guy competition, the lighting of the bonfire and a fireworks display.

Plenty of food and drink options will be on offer, as well as children’s fairground rides.

And tickets for the event are now on sale through a new ticketing system.
