THE owner of Groomes Guest House, in Frith End, has appealed after East Hampshire District Council refused to grant permission to allow the guest house to host events in a nearby barn.
Owner Pete Dale said that he had been "perplexed" by the council's decision, in August, because he, with his planning consultants, felt the application was sound.
He has now appealed for a Government planning inspector to decide whether to allow him to host events in the agricultural barn on his property.
The application followed a long dispute with Frith End residents, who have complained about noise and disruption from events at the guest house.
