ARTIST Susie Lidstone completed her painting ‘Castle Street at Christmas’at her recent exhibition, the painting of which will be used for Christmas cards to be sold at the Farnham Museum and at Farnham Maltings’ Christmas fair.

Susie said: “The exhibition went well selling cards and one of my prints. I really enjoyed completing the painting of Castle Street at Christmas. The ideas behind producing a Christmas image of Castle Street arose from talks with myself and the museum curators.

“It seemed like an ideal opportunity while my exhibition was on to show a work in progress and for my point of view it focused the mind to complete the work in time to get it produced in card form by my printers so the museum could have it for sale. And as I am taking part in The Maltings’ Christmas Fair I can sell the cards there and have the original painting for sale.”
