THE threat of "back door privatisation" at Haslemere Hospital grew ever closer this week, as NHS Surrey held a private meeting to discuss its future.
It comes after the hospital's current healthcare provider, Surrey Community Health, asked to become a "social enterprise", which would allow it to retain management of the hospital following its forced split from NHS Surrey next April.
