PLAYERS from Farnham Brass Band will join those from at least eight other local bands for Big & Brassy, a concert in aid of Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice this April.

The fundraising event has been organised by Ray and Linda Somers, both brass players themselves, and promises to be a hugely entertaining afternoon concert with a wide-range of music chosen by the bands themselves.

It will take place at the Princes Hall, Aldershot, at 2.30pm on Sunday, April 30. All proceeds raised will go to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

A spokesman for Farnham Brass Band said: “We hope to see as many of our supporters, friends and members of the community as possible so that we can raise money for the hospice.”
