POPULAR tourist attraction Birdworld is getting ready for the doors to its ’spooktacular’ Hallowe’en grotto to open.

The venue on the A325 between Farnham and Bordon will offer visitors a fun-filled week of tricks and treats for the half-term school holiday.

All next week, visitors can walk through the creepy corridors of the park’s Hallowe’en grotto to see a spectacle of spooks and a coven of wicked witches.

Families will also be able to enjoy a creepy array of activities from October 22-26, including the chance to make some boo-tiful arts and crafts, watch mystical magic tricks, have some fearsome face painting, and step aboard Birdworld’s special Hallowe’en train ride to learn about some of the gruesome habits of the park’s larger birds.

Around the 26-acre park, there will also be a Hallowe’en trail, challenging visitors to find the hidden ‘mysterious magpies’ and complete a challenge or question for each one that they find. Completed trails will be entered into a daily prize draw to win a ticket to another attraction.

To join in the fun with the rest of the Birdworld team, visitors are also invited to wear their most fearful fancy dress costumes as spooky prizes will be given for the best outfits.
