FARNHAM officially sprang into spring last Wednesday with the official launch of Farnham In Bloom 2013.

The campaign had a hugely successful year in 2012, winning gold in both the Town Centre category and in the Larger Town category at the South & South East in Bloom Awards. The Farnham in Bloom team hope to build on this success and preparations are already well under way to make 2013 the best year yet, with special planting to celebrate the 120th year of the Girls Brigade.

Over 40 people from local villages, voluntary groups, community groups and sponsoring businesses turned up to the council chamber to pledge their support for this year's programme of activity.
