AS East Hampshire District Council, struggles to balance its books after reduced government funding, a presentation of this year's budget, as part of the council's crucial public consultation process due to take place on Tuesday of this week was cancelled.

A council spokesman said the move was due "to changes by the government that will have to be calculated."
