PLANS for a "budget, no frills" 40-bedroom lodge-style hotel and fast-food restaurant at Liphook Service Station have been submitted with the district council.

The new motor lodge – if approved by East Hampshire District Council planners – would be built as part of the services complex on the southbound carriageway.
