A Farnham tattoo artist has raised £300 for charity by penning a different kind of tribute to the late frontman of Black Sabbath.

Over The Moon owner El Harper raised the sum for Parkinson’s UK through the sale of Ozzy Osbourne-themed tattoos at the Great Western Tattoo Show in Swindon.

The Downing Street artist came up with the idea after he and his partner attended Ozzy’s “Back to the Beginning” concert in July 2025, held 17 days before the heavy metal icon passed away.

El said: “Seeing all the fans come together at the concert and others watching around the world, it was obvious how important and influential Ozzy and his music were to so many people.

“I just wanted to give people the opportunity to get a tribute tattoo and pay homage.

“The proceeds from the concert were split between a few different charities and an incredible amount was raised as a result of everyone's hard work.

“I wanted to make sure my contribution from the tattoos went directly to Parkinson's UK as this was a condition Ozzy suffered from personally.”

“The final count was around 15 tattoos. Some of the clients had also been to ‘Back to the Beginning’ and we swapped stories; others just wanted to pay tribute and talk about how influential Ozzy was to them.”

El called Ozzy’s final gig both “amazing and bittersweet” as the singer performed while seated in a black bat-themed throne due to health conditions.

“It didn't seem to hold him back and his voice was still incredible,” said El, who is planning other fundraising events.

He said: “They are an excellent way to connect people with causes that are relevant and important to them personally, whilst providing a way to give something back and acquire a lasting souvenir at the same time.”
