WITH just over a week to go to the first running of the Farnham Pilgrims' Marathon and Half-Marathon, organisers are expecting a bumper turnout of more than 800 runners.

The Rotary Club of Farnham Weyside, which is organising the event, was due to call a halt to entries for the September 19 half-marathon before the end of this week, with around 550 people already signed up.
