Fun is firmly on the agenda as two Farnham businesses have reaffirmed their support to the town and community.

Kidd Rapinet and Shaw Gibbs have been thanked by Farnham Town Council for their ongoing sponsorship of FTC’s summer programme of events.

The town centre pair are the programme’s joint principal sponsors for the second year running with the recent Farnham Folk Day kicking off a “vibrant summer of fun”.

Their ongoing support has enabled FTC to organise an “enhanced programme” of free summer activities and entertainment with four extended Sunday afternoon Music in the Meadow concerts.

“Thanks to our sponsors, we have some wonderful events planned right through until the end of August,” said Cllr George Murray, Mayor of Farnham.

“Sponsoring an event is a fantastic way for local businesses to play a pivotal role in bringing residents together and doing something positive that enhances people’s wellbeing.

“We are very grateful to Kidd Rapinet and Shaw Gibbs.”

Representatives from both businesses expressed their enthusiasm for continuing to support the summer events programme.

“Farnham is more than just the place we work – it’s our community,” said Andrew Kingston, managing partner at Kidd Rapinet.

“These gatherings are a wonderful celebration of local talent, community spirit, and the joy of summer.”

“At Kidd Rapinet, we believe in supporting the moments that bring people together and we can’t wait to see families, friends and neighbours enjoying the music and sunshine in the heart of our town.”

Mark Dickinson, Managing Partner at Shaw Gibbs Farnham adds: “Our sponsorship reflects our commitment to growth, connections, and community spirit, which aligns with our values.

“As dedicated accountants and business advisers, we are passionate about fostering a thriving local economy and value initiatives that bring people into Farnham while strengthening local businesses.”
