David Munro urging his Surrey County Council colleagues to overturn their decision to allow the re-opening of the Alton Road sandpit in Wrecclesham.
Mr Munro, who represents the area at county level, has written to Surrey planning chief Callum Findlay asking him if the decision to allow Ready Mix Concrete to extract sand and clay over a six-year period can be quashed.
