THE Reverend Canon Dr Andrew White presented his own "peace prize" to Lord and Lady Carey, the former Archbishop of Canterbury and his wife, and Edgar Seely formerly the US Ambassador to Baghdad. The Prize for Peace and Reconciliation in the Middle East was awarded in the front of the Queen's throne in the throne room at the House of Lords.  Canon White, who is president of the Foundation For Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East, said: "Both have contributed to peace in very different ways."
