Residents of Shannon Court in Hindhead performed a traditional nativity, much to the delight of their families and friends.
The production was masterminded by activities coordinator Jagoda Bielinska.
Inspired by residents who had shared their Christmas memories with her, Jagoda and colleagues, Sam Geddes and Sam Oliver, set about making it happen.
The oldest member of the cast was 94 year-old Gwendoline Rhodes, who played a shepherd.
The cast wore fabulous costumes which were handmade by the home’s admin Assistant Jenny Colquhoun.
Jagoda, who also directed the play, said: “We wanted to do something original and staging the nativity was certainly ambitious. It came together perfectly, thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
“Our residents received a huge round of applause and later spoke about how they really enjoyed the whole process. All our guests joined in with singing and really made the room rock.”
