Celebrations as groups receive £300,000 in hand-outs

TWENTY-FIVE organisations in Waverley and Guildford are celebrating this week after being awarded more than £300,000 towards environmental projects.

Farnham Park, Frensham Common and a cycle route between Farnham and Guildford are the major beneficiaries of landfill tax money from the S.I.T.A. South West Surrey Partnership.
