HEATH End residents have been urged to check their garages and sheds for a severely disabled boy’s beloved missing cat.

‘Runty’, a female Bengal, went missing on Monday from her home in Newcome Road and her owner’s son has stopped eating for worrying about his missing feline friend.

Dad, Matt said: "She is a major part of the family and a great friend to my severely disabled son, who is only four and now doesn't want Christmas.

"It is having an effect on him as he is not eating as he is saying if Runty can't eat then he won't. He has a major eating disorder and has gone down hill since she has gone missing.

"Please could you check your sheds or out houses and contact us immediately if you see her."

Runty has very distinctive leopard-like brown stripes and spots, but is not wearing a collar.
