BROOKHAM and Hightfield schools celebrated World Book Day with pupils and teachers dressing up as their favourite characters.
Children arrived in a marvellous array of costume, including Willy Wonka, Harry Potter, James and The Giant (homemade) Peach, Alice in Wonderland, Cruella de Vil and one Dalmatian – as well as Disney princesses and pirates, witches and Superheroes in all shapes and sizes.
Children at Brookham Pre-Prep and Nursery were encouraged to bring in their favourite stories to tell to their friends, and older children at the Liphook’s Highfield School relished the opportunity to show off their knowledge of books by entering a variety of book related competitions.
