CONFUSION reigns over proposed plans for 58 houses and a care home on the former OSU Site.
Barratt Homes held a public consultation, followed by a Development Consultation Forum at East Hampshire District Council's offices in Penns Place, in February 14, which was attended by Bramshott and Liphook parish councillors.
At the annual meeting for Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council last week, Angela Glass, district councillor and member of EHDC's planning committee, announced "breaking news" that Barratts had withdrawn the planning application for the former OSU site.
But Barratt development director Julian Jones said: "There was a short space of time last week when we did indeed tell the council that we couldn't agree terms with the landowners.
"However, we are now back in dialogue and hope to conclude negotiations shortly. We are working through the pre-application stage."
