COUNCIL bosses from Hampshire are among those who have made into the UK top 20 for high earners according to the 2012 Tax Payers Alliance Town Hall Rich List.

Hampshire County Council came second in the top 20 for staff members on more than £100,000 .

East Hampshire District Council's chief executive Sandy Hopkins amassed £148,875 including fees allowances and pension contributions, in a job she shares with Havant Borough Council.
