THE bunting came out for the Churt Village Fete as crowds gathered to enjoy all the fun, games and entertainment that was on offer throughout the afternoon.

Churt recreation ground again played host to the popular annual event, which saw herds of cowboys and Indians take over the land.

The fete, opened by Rev Clare Challis, offered a vast amount of amusements from St John's Country Dancing; to a competitive tug of war game; a dog show; giant slide and bungee trampoline; and a best wild west outfit competition.

Mill Cottage Farm also pitched up along with its animals, while Farnham Brass Band provided a traditional backdrop to proceedings.

And as visitors took pleasure in the barbecue and the inviting cakes baked by Churt WI, the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, put on a show to remember in their parade.
