HEADTEACHER of the Ridgeway School in Farnham, Darryl Morgan, at last got to go to Windsor Castle on Tuesday last week to collect his OBE.

Mr Morgan, who lives in Alton, said: “It still makes me incredibly grateful to all those who put me forward and felt this was something of which I was worthy.

“It was a fabulous experience. I met so many very kind, generous and inspirational people and having the opportunity to meet and speak with Her Royal Highness, Princess Anne, the Princess Royal was the climax of an unforgettable experience.

“My job brings me into contact with the most incredible people, children, colleagues and families, and with my own family, I can’t thank them enough, for making this possible.”
