IF you’re looking for a fun run with a twist, then why not sign up for Phyllis Tuckwell’s Dash of Colour on Saturday, September 1 at Frimley Lodge Park.
While you run, jog or walk the 5km circuit of this sponsored fun run, you’ll be showered with not only multi-coloured but also gold and silver powder paint, leaving you finishing the run covered in all the colours of the rainbow.
Farnham-based hospice care charity Phyllis Tuckwell has held its hugely popular Dash of Colour for four years now, and its fifth promises to be even better than before.
When you sign up, you’ll be given a white t-shirt to wear on the day, but it won’t stay white for long!
You’ll end the run covered in colourful powder paint, to celebrate the colour that Phyllis Tuckwell brings to the lives of its patients and their families – and with gold and silver shimmer showing how its supporters help Phyllis Tuckwell to sparkle.
“As the NHS/Government only covers 20 per cent of our costs, we have to raise over £20,000 a day to be able to do this, and Dash of Colour is a brilliant way to help us hit this target whilst having fun with family and friends,” said Gemma Craig, events fundraising manager at Phyllis Tuckwell.
