Sir Andrew is executive headteacher of South Farnham School Educational Trust and his talk concerns ‘Education in Farnham and the National Perspective’.
And more specifically – the scope, size and impact upon the local economy; the impact schools have in terms of attracting families to Farnham; the high quality of the schools and its influence on national initiatives; the crucial role of community involvement in schools; and the need to explore how families, local businesses and community leaders can focus on maintaining our great Farnham schools.
The Probus Club of Farnham was founded in 1969 as a luncheon club for men of retirement age from professional and business backgrounds. Meetings are held monthly at The Farnham House Hotel, and often have an informal talk by a member or as with this month, by an outside speaker.
Should membership be of interest to others, contact honorary secretary, Maxwell Hubbard at [email protected].
