A MOTORIST escaped injury after the 4x4 she was driving smashed into the front window of a disused shop in Petersfield High Street just before 9am on Tuesday.
The 63-year-old woman from Petersfield, who was driving a Suzuki Escudo, was unhurt after the vehicle mounted the pavement and ripped out a black bollard, before crashing into the front of the Grade II Listed building.
