A NEW advice service specifically for older people has launched in Farnham and takes place on the second Wednesday of every month.
Engaging with Ageing, a drop-in service, offers information and advice to help people make the most of life, whether it be advice on care funding, wills or probate, finding out about a local craft group or exercise class, or trying out the latest living aid.
Alastair Shanks, managing director at Right at Home GF and co-founder of Engaging with Ageing, said: “Awareness is growing and the number of services for this age group in Farnham is increasing.
“So being able to find out in one place everything that is happening locally, as well as the chance to speak to local experts, should simplify people’s access to the right support.”
The next Engaging with Ageing drop-in session takes place on Wednesday, May 9, between 10.30am and 12.30pm at Farnham Conservative Club, just off Downing Street.
